Speedy deletion of Burnout Racing Team

edit

A tag has been placed on Burnout Racing Team requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Neverquick (talk) 15:40, 24 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Burnout Racing Team

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Burnout Racing Team, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Burnout Racing Team. ninety:one 15:40, 24 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fair enough. I copy edited it for grammar. Just FYI it's not the red rings of death because it's really just a partial ring (singular). xenocidic (talk) 18:18, 24 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Sega welcome

edit

Hello, BRTman666, and welcome to WikiProject Sega. I read your comment about Sonic needing a WikiProject, and while he doesn't have one, we do have a Sonic Task Force if you're interested in joining that. It's at Wikipedia:WikiProject Sega/Sonic and if you want to help us build it, then please feel free to help expand the task force. Thanks, and the Sega Project looks forward to having you as an active member. I can also see that you're a fairly new Wikipedian, and if you wish, I can help you develop your skill. All you have to do is comment on my talk page, and I'll be happy to help. Thanks. Red Phoenix flame of life...protector of all... 02:30, 14 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

hi,

edit

Hello, I could probably help you with making a project, but out of knowlage, all you need to do is to find a project similar then copy-past and edit to make it the one of the desired topic. A helpful tip is to ask the person who created it, to finalise it with them first to avoid confusion.

Thanks,

cheers,

Re: Portal

edit

Please have a read of WP:OR. Just because many users have come to the conclusion about what she us referring to doesn't make it fact. It cannot be included without Glados or someone at Valve specifically stating what she if referring to (source it too), otherwise it is a clearly original research. As the article states, she "not elaborate on the details", yet some how you are able to state that she is referring to the Combine as fact? If you disagree take it to the Portal talk page and I'm sure someone will be able to explain it better than me. Rehevkor 12:56, 5 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

As I said, take it to the Portal talk page. You're going to need more than that. Rehevkor 14:46, 6 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
