Welcome from Adakiko

Welcome! Although some prefer welcoming newcomers with cookies, I find fruit to be a healthier alternative.

Hello, A Sacrifice to an Ochlocracy, and Welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

Here are some pages you might find helpful:

Additional tips...

  • Please sign your messages on talk pages with four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically insert your "signature" (your username and a date stamp). The   button, on the tool bar above Wikipedia's text editing window, also does this.
  • If you would like to play around with your new Wiki skills without changing the mainspace, the Sandbox is for you.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. If you need any other help, leave me a message on my talk page.

Again, welcome! Have fun. Adakiko (talk) 11:05, 12 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your addition to Suppasit Jongcheveevat.Have you seen the firestorm is caused?

I would recommend not discussing your edit with those wp:SPAs. If you have problems with your talk page, you can request protection at wp:RFPP. Or, start a ticket (section) on wp:AN/I Cheers Adakiko (talk) 11:05, 12 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

BTW: You don't need to ping someone on their own talk page, it's automatic. Help:Notifications. One cannot (or at least that used to be the case) fix a ping. See Help:Notifications#Known bugs Adakiko (talk) 11:10, 12 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

I see. Thanks for your concern! 🙇 A Sacrifice to an Ochlocracy (talk) 11:10, 12 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Please wp:THREAD your talk. I just added a colon ":" to yours above and two colons "::" to this reply
The first link on Suppasit Jongcheveevat#Controversies doesn't go to a website and returns "An Error Was Encountered The URI you submitted has disallowed characters."
Would you please add a few items to your citations? I tried https:\\translate.google.com The translation was poor and I didn't want to guess. You know the joke: If you speak three languages, you're trilingual. If you speak two languages, you're bilingual. If you speak one language, you're an American  .
See template:cite web for reference. Please add:
  • An English translated title using "|trans-title=". e.g. an English translation of the "|title=" title. See template:cite web#Foreign language and translated title
  • Author: "|author=" the name of the author, preferably in English and Thai. Maybe "author= Thai language (English language) Authors
  • Publisher: "|publisher=" The name of the publisher, if there is an article on that publisher, Wikilinked i.e. [[Wall Street Journal]] (without the nowiki markup) template:cite web#Publisher
  • Date: "date=" the date on the article, if any. The format D MMM YYYY (5 January 2022) is preferred (Thailand is day first, I presume) template:cite web#Date
  • Date late accessed: "|access-date=" - today's date - same format as above
If you would like some assistance, please ping me here. Cheers Adakiko (talk) 22:34, 13 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
I just reformatted the dates. I didn't realize you had added them! Adakiko (talk) 22:51, 13 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Quite a cleanup on Suppasit Jongcheveevat! Your section seems to have survived intact. There is a mention on talk:Suppasit Jongcheveevat#Need to remove the controversy part which contains defamatory misinformation and the next section. Cheers Adakiko (talk) 22:54, 13 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Adakiko: There might be some problem. The page is semi-protected and I'm yet to be autoconfirmed so it's protected from me. I think I could add trans-title in my sandbox but I need to rely on you to update them. Also, most Thai news website doesn't have author name which surprised me too when I first leant about it. Thanks! A Sacrifice to an Ochlocracy (talk) 01:29, 14 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
You could copy the section to your sandbox and then modify it. I would copy it back to SJ. Cheers Adakiko (talk) 02:08, 14 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Probably a more urgent item is the correct URL to that first citation that gives me an error. Adakiko (talk) 02:14, 14 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Adakiko: I have update all the citation now, sorry for the delay A Sacrifice to an Ochlocracy (talk) 03:38, 14 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thank you! Delay? That was fast! Copied to the article: Diff Thanks again! - I didn't even get to finish this before I saw your 'thanks'! Cheers Adakiko (talk) 03:59, 14 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

talk:Suppasit Jongcheveevat#Awards

You've probably are aware of this: Your mention of a citation number will be off as soon as one is added or removed before that. One method I've seen used is if you copied the reference to your talk. Such as this[1] and this[2] Then add template:reflist-talk at the bottom of the section and it will display as below. Also, if you can cite a source stating that those blogs accept paid promotion might be useful. Kazz and Howe being owned by the same company as well. Not that familiar with RS to know what that would would affect it. Cheers Adakiko (talk) 12:01, 16 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! I have no idea about reflist talk and I will promptly edit my reply - A Sacrifice to an Ochlocracy (talk) 13:01, 16 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
I believe that one usually adds their talk above the reflist-talk keeping the reflist at the bottom and maintaining threading continuity. Cheers Adakiko (talk) 13:29, 16 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Adakiko: Oh. Sorry. I don’t know about this either. I replied from a mobile version and it automatically put new reply to the bottom. I have edited my reply in talk:Suppasit Jongcheveevat#Awards already but I’m not sure what I should do next. I want to move on to other subject but this problem seems to last quite a while. I would be grateful of your suggestion, A Sacrifice to an Ochlocracy (talk) 13:56, 16 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'm sure that all the regulars editing the Suppasit Jongcheveevat article would like to move on. I would too! It sort of seems like the irregulars are backing off, so you probably should spend less time on SJ. You might as on Sly's talk page how you can help including how to get out of that mire.
I presume you know that you are not required in anyway to spend time on it! Volunteers get to spend their time doing what they want to do! Well, maybe... I'd like to write and edit articles, but don't seem to have much of that ability. I like the Wikipedia concept and want to support Wikipedia so I spend most of my time doing wp:RCP. Seems to fit my brain's capabilities. RCP is how I got involved on SJ by reverting a groupie's removal of your criticism section! I should blame you for this!
I see Sly put a reply below the Reflist-talk too. The Wiki editor makes that the easiest way for desktop browsers too.
I put copyvio speedies on two of the images that Kelenamsj uploaded. The current one is too convoluted for me to get into. Take a look at the twitter link on File:Mew Suppast TRESemme.jpg. Note the heading of the twitter post  ... If you look at the uploader's Wikimedia commons talk page, you'll see my handiwork. I did a google search on the image and got all these images in Thai of course. I wouldn't recommend
