Speedy deletion nomination of Strategic Consortium of Intelligence Professionals
editHello, AakritiBasnett,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Pppery and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Strategic Consortium of Intelligence Professionals, for deletion, because a consensus decision previously decided that it wasn't suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. If you wish to restore a page deleted via a deletion discussion, please use the deletion review process instead, rather than reposting the content of the page.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.
For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Pppery}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

Speedy deletion nomination of Wikipedia:SCIP - Strategic Consortium of Intelligence Professionals
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Wikipedia:SCIP - Strategic Consortium of Intelligence Professionals, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hitro talk 14:22, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
Advert and COI warnings
edit Hello, I'm Deb. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.
Anyone with a conflict of interest must avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing articles related to you, your family or colleagues, your organization or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- and you must always:
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

- Hi Deb, could you please clarify what happened with the following text and why this has been deleted, even though it was previously approved? Thank you.
... AakritiBasnett (talk) 15:24, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Deb, is there any phone number where we can reach out to you? Thank you. AakritiBasnett (talk) 17:30, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
- There are a lot of things wrong with this. For a start, you should know, if you looked at the deletion log, that the article was deleted as advertising. You should never have added the same promotional text here, so I'm deleting that section. It's untrue to say that the article was "previously approved"; it's never been "approved". You also recreated the promotional article in the wrong namespace (we never start article names with "Wikipedia:") You say "we" - accounts must not be shared. If you are editing on behalf of an organisation, that must also stop, as it constitutes a conflict of interest. And finally, you should know that it's not possible to influence individual editors in the way you are suggesting, and we don't give out our phone numbers to people we don't know.
