Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~)
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put
{{My sandbox}}
on your userpage.Great to hear from you, and congrats on your article!
editWow, great to hear from you, and congratulations on your article! Spiffed it up a bit with a few formatting / copyediting tricks, and threw in two more quotes. Should be good to go ... Whoo-hoo!
If you want to start more of these articles, all you'd have to do is write a few paragraphs, add links for the references, (add userbox if you want), and drop me a note. Since you know the topic, that's the tough part... I'd be happy to pitch in on the "wikify" / copyedit side. We need more articles like this, that's for sure.
There was a meeting on IRC chat this weekend about starting a new group, Wikimedia Indigenous Languages. Really interesting to have folks share experiences. Sign up, we'd love to have you! Djembayz (talk) 01:03, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
Thanks a heap for the meaningful feedback and moves on a tiny stub! Someday I will grow up and edit large glorious pages, but don't hold yer breath. I was going to ask after IRC, but I bit my tongue thinking that might make me look like a fossil. XD Is this the #wikipedia channel on freenode, or some other thinger? Do y'all use Meetbot? I might read up on it when things slow down. :D Abesottedphoenix (talk) 01:35, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
Keep those articles coming, kiddo ...
editMore articles! More articles! We're just gettin' started ... And yes, we do use IRC. :) Hang out and chat away.

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Ridgebattery.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Ridgebattery.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.
If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.
Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 19:02, 25 April 2015 (UTC)
License tagging for File:Ridgebatteryinfo.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Ridgebatteryinfo.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:06, 25 April 2015 (UTC)
