License tagging for File:Upendra film poster.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Upendra film poster.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 20:05, 24 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Upendra's character "Naanu" in the film UPENDRA.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Upendra's character "Naanu" in the film UPENDRA.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions. If you have a question, place a {{helpme}} template, along with your question, beneath this message.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.

Proposed deletion of Preethse

edit

The article Preethse has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Impossible to verify any of the claims made here. No independent sources can be found, making notability impossible to establish

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. File source problem with File:Aishwarya Movie Poster.jpg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Aishwarya Movie Poster.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Non-free rationale for File:Katari Veera surasundarangi Official poster 002.JPG

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Katari Veera surasundarangi Official poster 002.JPG. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Superstar Upendra.jpeg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Superstar Upendra.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Tito Dutta 11:04, 3 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:Super Star kannada movie Poster.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Super Star kannada movie Poster.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. It is an insult to the intelligence of other editors to use sock accounts and make such blatantly obvious errors. Your "Pardon me" sounds a lot like my daughter's "OK", after which she goes on with whatever she was doing. From your words and your behavior, I'd say you do not have the maturity to edit here, and I suppose there's little left for me to do but to semi-protect the articles you try to work on. That also means, of course, that whatever you consider "improvements" won't be taking place. Good day. Drmies (talk) 15:45, 20 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • I've rollbacked your Supero edits, not just because you made them, but also because they were grammatically challenged. I understand you made those inept edits to get autoconfirmed so you can get back to your Upendra, and that's a good reason for me to fully protect the article. Tito, can you add this to the SPI and maybe ask for CU to see if there's any sleepers? Drmies (talk) 15:51, 20 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • @Drmies: @Titodutta: Sir I am extremely sorry for my behavior and I shall never repeat my mistake. I shall never create any other sock account. I didnt have any intention to disrespect or hurt anyone in any manner. My only concern was to write some necessary information in the Upendra page. I am new to wikipedia and hence I wasn't aware of the rules. But now I am ready to follow and abide by all the rules. But Sir, if the page is now fully protected, then how will anyone in the future be able to make necessary edits to that page? I promise not to ever create any fake accounts. And I promise never to edit war with anyone. The thing is, i never understood why my edits were being reverted, since I have always provided proper citations to any edits that i made. But in the future, I shall discuss with people if they do not agree with any edits. But Sir, I request, I deeply request you, pls do not put the page in full protection. I am in a great sorrow that the page has been fully protected, and I and I alone, am solely responsible for this. I deeply regret my behavior and shall never repeat my mistakes again.Abhijit puranik (talk)
