Peer Review By Addie Long 1. The article does have all of the parts listed in the Wikipedia assignment. (add picture if possible?) 2. I really like the opening, but when you discuss the theories (rhetoric, cultural theory, gender theory, and queer theory). I would have liked a a little description of what they are. If I had no background in communication or gender studies I would be more confused about what her research is focused on. Also maybe address her as "Dr." for the first introduction and add a brief blurb about her book to really capture the viewer's attention. 3. The only really style problem I found was that there was a quotation mark that should be moved to the previous sentence. (Currently: ...political conflict. “Cloud has said; should be: ...political conflict." Cloud has said). Personally, I would like to have a little more explanation about the quotes that are provided because they are strong, but are not easy to understand at first glance. Then the "other contributions" section could just have consistent formatting throughout the whole section. 4. Overall impression is really good! The content is awesome, but I just wanted to know more details and specifics on her research in easier terms to read.

Peer review From January 1993 to August 2015, she also worked in the Center for Women’s and Gender Studies and the Department of Rhetoric and Writing at University of Texas, Austin. In the sentence above the word "also" could be deleted to eliminate filler words. Abbi Duncan (talk) 16:45, 6 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

If possible, you could include a picture of your scholarAbbi Duncan (talk) 16:47, 6 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

This is a great start to your article on your scholar, however if you could expand on your opening paragraph and scholarly work section and go a little bit more in depth about her scholarly work and area of expertise so that readers would have a better understanding of what your scholar has accomplished.
