Melencron: Apparent unconstructive edit to Martin McGuinness
editI see you removed my latest edit to the page of Martin McGuinness. This makes little sense to me as I simply stated facts on the page. I do not see how stating facts should be considered to be vandalism. Please reply posthaste to help resolve this error in judgement as the edits were constructive, accurate and necessary.

editHello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Dave Finlay does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Edison (talk) 21:07, 13 March 2018 (UTC)
Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Martin McGuinness. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. --sanfranman59 (talk) 21:40, 13 March 2018 (UTC)
