Welcome

Hello Abogalambo. Welcome to Wikipedia. We're glad to have another contributor and I hope you'll decide you like it here and want to stay! I noticed your question at the help desk and wanted to provide a bit more information. First of all, thank you so much for using the Sandbox to experiment. Since you wrote such a lengthy piece and the sandbox is cleaned every 12 hours, I've moved it here to your user space at User:Abogalambo/Israel's actions so that you would have a copy of it. Unfortunately, you will have a difficult time submitting this work as an article, but perhaps parts of it can be moved to relevant articles. First of all, titles of articles are short names describing the topic, like elephant or war, not titles like you would use in newspaper articles. The subject you are writing about can be found at 2006 Israel-Lebanon conflict. Second, no one is the author of material in Wikipedia. When you submit an article, you don't sign it, and anyone can come and change it. Third, and most imprtant, Wikipedia has a strict neutral point of view policy, and some people will feel that your writing is promoting a specific point of view. There are a lot of standards and policies here, but as long as you are editing in good faith, you are encouraged to be bold in updating pages. Here are a few links you might find useful:

Please let me know if you have any more questions and again, welcome! — Reinyday, 00:49, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Where did you find the article written at User:Abogalambo/Israel's actions? Did you write it yourself or did you find it in another location? -- tariqabjotu 02:25, 15 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hello again Abogalambo. You wrote, "Won't be contributing again until I figure out how to go about understanding the difficult mechanism of publishing on Wikipedia." I hope that's not true! It looks like you have a lot to contribute! I know the specifics of Wikipedia may seem daunting, but it really is easy to edit. Every page has an "edit this page" link on top, and you can use that to fix errors on any page, or to reply here. When you're ready to make a new article, please visit, Wikipedia:How to edit a page and Wikipedia:Your first article. If you want a copy of what you wrote before, please let me know. I look forward to your future contributions. — Reinyday, 15:49, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
