wikilawyering

Hey, I need a little help here because I don't understand the ins and outs but here me out for a second. At the SSCS mainpage, there used to be a category eco-terrorism that rubbed people the wrong way but through many different arguments and attempts at consensus stuck, due to appropriate citations. Then, someone got clever and created a SSCS category, to which they applied an eco-terrorism parent category, then made the argument that eco-terrorism could no longer be a category because of the wiki rule that says it would be redundant. The problem is, no one has made any case for including the SSCS category under the eco-terrorism category. It seems that this is a simple way around the rules to clean the page. Where do we go from here? 69.246.27.226 (talk) 03:51, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Niazi

Hi, you restored the article on Niazi to a version which was full of tribal boasting, "famous people" and vandalism invloving duplicate categories. I have restored your original revert. Green Giant (talk) 20:15, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Oh, alright. I was pretty sure there was vandalism there at first (hence my first revert) but I ended up second-guessing myself. Thanks. 20:48, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

TTT

Please use Huggle with caution. The edit you reverted was not vandalism. Thanks. 160.39.212.104 (talk) 20:59, 2 October 2010 (UTC) PS an apology would be nice so visitors to my talk page don't think I'm a vandal. Thanks. 160.39.212.104 (talk) 21:02, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Whether or not your proposed entry at TTT is vandalism, it does not follow Wikipedia guidelines:
  • WP:D3 states that you should not:
  • add references or external links
  • add red links that aren't already used in an existing article
Although they have removed the warnings, Ace of Spades acted properly in reverting your edits and does not owe you any apologies. Green Giant (talk) 22:06, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
