Speedy deletion of Gibaran Learning Group

A tag has been placed on Gibaran Learning Group, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Gibaran

Hi, I'd just like to enquire as to why the page I creted, 'Gibaran Learning Group' was deleted. The page was done in a similar format to that of other educational institutions and not as advertising. Please review the deleted page and if it is still classified as advertising perhaps give me the guidelines to edit as I believe it is straight forward information not persuasive material.

As stated before in my Talk page, the article read like an advertisement: "Visit www.xxxx.com for more information". Did not assert notability under WP:CORP on its own merits, without sounding like an ad. Pointing to similar articles doesn't work. You must show references, and citations from reliables sources. I have restored the article to your user space at User:Actionlearning/Gibaran for you to work on, then repost when ready. Once you are done, you can request deletion of copy in user space by posting {{db-userreq}} to it. Note: you should also read WP:YFA. Good luck. -- Alexf⁴² 10:12, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
