GQ promotional account
editThis is purportedly an account set up by Jennifer Lawrence to edit her own Wikipedia page. Although it made no edits, the [is linked from the description in the Youtube page, and the video shows her faking edits to her page]. Account should probably be deleted as it was created for promotional purposes.104.163.148.25 (talk) 08:34, 3 March 2018 (UTC)
- IP, it is impossible to delete accounts on Wikipedia, but an admin can block anyone who disrupts the site in a really bad way (which so far hasn't happened). Snuggums (talk / edits) 03:42, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
This is purportedly
? What this is, is an account set up by GQ for use in a video where Jennifer Lawrence is shown to edit her own Wikipedia page. However, no edits were actually made (the account has made zero edits) meaning GQ respected our policies. And Jennifer is clearly (as in "there is video evidence") aware of, and okay with, the account being created. Therefore it has not violated any practices and guidelines, there is no reason to suspect a fake account, and there is no grounds for deletion. Cheers CapnZapp (talk) 07:03, 13 August 2021 (UTC)
