Re: talk on (non) article removed
editRe your message: I do not believe that the exemption for CSD G8 because the talk page contained no deletion discussion for the corresponding article. In my opinion, your request for the article with the BAFTA nominations and the two links were not sufficient enough to keep the talk page around. There are very few orphaned talk pages that are not deleted.
As for your previously deleted article, since it appears that you created it under a different account, I can not comment specifically on the deletion. However, as a general rule, copyright violations are deleted even if you leave a note on the talk page that you have permission as such permission statements are not sufficient. Wikipedia must have written or email confirmation to use the copyrighted material. See Requesting copyright permission for details.
Wikipedia can be very confusing and you have gone into areas that can be doubly confusing: non-existent articles and copyrighted materials. If you wish, I can help you create an article for Adam Recht within your user space as a draft. Do you have any other references besides IMDb or his personal website? I think it may be difficult to met the notability guidelines without additional references as neither can be used as a reliable source. You can also make an open request for an article through the Article Wizard. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:15, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
- I went ahead and created an outline of a draft article for you at User:Adagio67/Adam Recht. If you are interested in working on the article, you would need to fill out the rest of his filmography as I just setup a beginning structure for you so you can get the idea behind the format. Adding additional details about his work or other biographical information would be helpful if you can provide the proper sources for it. If you need further assistance, feel free to contact me. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 07:07, 6 January 2012 (UTC)

Muncie
editThere are several reasons I can think of off the top of my head why Muncie may sound familiar to you, only some of which are directly related to the city in Indiana. Firstly, the world's largest manufacturer of home canning supplies, Ball, is located in Muncie and for many years featured the name of the city prominently on each glass jar they made. Secondly, famous American talk show host and comedian Dave Letterman attended Ball State U in Muncie and frequently discussed the city in his monolouges. Third, and this is discussed in the article, a prominent book in the 1950's refered to Muncie as "Middletown America", the most average place in the land. Lastly, Ford Motors had a transmission model called the Muncy, after its designer, that was frequently misspelled Muncie. Mustangs with 351 cu. in. engines and Muncy trannys were highly coveted. Hope that helps. John from Idegon (talk) 05:02, 26 October 2014 (UTC)
Magenta De Vine year of birth
editMagenta De Vine was definitely born in 1957. I can imagine her (in what's now last year) having fireworks for her milestone 60th! (it even fell on the right day of the week - a Saturday) Next year, her birthday (where she'll be 62) will fall on the day of the week she was born on - a Monday. Yes, from when her birthday definitely is, she was born one day before fireworks night. Ofcdeadbeat (talk) 19:17, 3 January 2018 (UTC)Ofcdeadbeat
