Any pointers?
editHi Ryan - I can't think of a reliable alternative to IMDB. Do you have a suggestion? Also, is that the only glaring deficiency you found? http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Adambrower&action=edit§ion=1#
Ryan, i've had a bit of guidance. now looking for print mentions of Tony awards, etc.Adambrower (talk) 22:55, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
Possible suggestions
editI don't know how useful this will be in establishing his importance, but he rated an obituary in The New York Times. See their archive for the abstract of 'Herbert Greene Dead; A Director of Musicals'. I found the info by googling 'Herbert Greene "New York Times" obituary'.
He is almost certainly mentioned in this NYT article as well: Zolotow, Sam. The New York Times, "The Music Man Wins Five of 18 Tony Awards", April 14, 1958, p.21 Mary Mark Ockerbloom
thanks
edit... to Mary for this find. Searching for similar, and will also add Stephen Suskin's book tomorrow. Hopefully this will be enough to sway even Demiurge1000! Adambrower (talk) 01:41, 27 May 2012 (UTC)

editI have nominated Herbert Greene (Broadway conductor) to appear on the main page under "Did you know...". You can view the nomination and my proposed hook here. Ryan Vesey Review me! 21:41, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
- This article needs more footnotes from either same or different sources. Also, personal information, such as birth and early life, needs verification, even if the subject is currently deceased. --George Ho (talk) 06:46, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
- i will see if i can beef the article up when i return from my fishing trip on 6/17. it would be wonderful to see HG in the Did You Know section!Adambrower (talk) 02:38, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
