Speedy deletion nomination of Adam Last

edit

A tag has been placed on Adam Last requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. December 2009

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Adam Last, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. ~~ GB fan ~~ talk 01:56, 16 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Stop

edit

I notice you're creating a little web of pages in your userspace for your own fiction.

Stop that at once. Wikipedia is not a free webhost. You can do a lot of stuff with your userspace, but not everything.

I'll give you until May 5 to save everything you want to keep, then I'm going through and deleting all the pages. You can make things easier by adding {{db-u1}} to each page when you're ready for it to be deleted. DS (talk) 02:18, 30 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Wow, I actually forgot that I'd given you a deadline.

Too bad it's passed.

If you want, your files can be supplied to you. But you can't keep them on Wikipedia. DS (talk) 21:48, 29 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

August 2010

edit

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of previously published material to our articles as you apparently did to Leroy Jethro Gibbs. Please cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you. AussieLegend (talk) 20:29, 17 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Giovanna Carnolietti

edit

The article Giovanna Carnolietti has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I don't see what makes this lady notable

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ϢereSpielChequers 13:36, 3 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

December 2013: Notice concerning my changes to "2014 Formula One season"

edit

To whoever it may concern:

Recently, I added "The FIA World Motor Sport Council is expected to ratify the calendar when they meet in Paris on December 4, 2013, according to an official programme for the 2013 FIA Annual General Assembly in Paris, which can be found on the FIA's official website under "FIA Events"" to the article about the 2014 Formula One season under season calendar. Due to restrictions in place as far as editing the page is concerned, I wasn't able to cite my sources using the template, but I did in the text of the article, as I have shown in this post.

The URL that I was intending to cite is: http://www.fia.com/fia-events/fia-annual-general-assembly-2013/programme

I hope that you will find this a reliable source, and that an administrator for that page will be able to amend the article and sources accordingly.

Thank you for your consideration.
