Thanks/Question
editThank you for deleting that page I just made. I thought it would appear as a new tab on my userpage. Is there any way to do that? Thank you! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Firenationprincess (talk • contribs) 08:35, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
Quick Question
editFirst of all, thanks for the welcome and advice, much appreciated. Also, what are you meant to do with the user home page, just put info about youself? And are you supposed to inform anyone or anything when you create a page? Thanks again. --Miczilla (talk) 02:58, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

More Information Requested
edithello Addison2008, I was wondering what type of information would I need to retrieve for the page so it does not need to be deleted. It was mentioned that meaningful information was required, but what exactly does that mean? --Chrismcb 10:51, 2 December 2007 (EST)
Brussels International Exposition (1935)
editI don't think that the Brussels International Exposition (1935) is entirely fictional. This newsletter seems quite convincing. Angus McLellan (Talk) 13:01, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
Re this edit: the article is not actually suitable for db-nocontext because it is not English. In fact, it happens that that article was the full content of the Korean Wikipedia article ko:독도, so {{db-notenglish}} would be more appropriate (the article was later deleted for db-nocontext, recreated with completely different content, deleted again for db-notenglish which was the wrong tag, then restored completely and made into a redirect :P). I'm just writing to let you know of the proper speedy criteria to use. Also, if you stumble upon any other foreign articles that aren't immediately recognizable as copies of other Wikipedia articles, use the {{notenglish}} tag to request translation. New deal for page patrollers
editHi Addison2008,
In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.
Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.
Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:28, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
