Your sentences are written in NPOV, which is good, but I think there are a few small grammar changes that could help make them clearer:

• You've got a few wayward capitals - for example "..Tumor supressor gene."; "...types of Cancer." -- neither of these need capitals.
• Get rid of unnecessary words - instead of saying "Reprimo, abbreviated to RPRM..." you could just write "Reprimo (RPRM)..."
• What does "...this gene's status within specific tissues..." mean? Did you mean to say its presence or expression within certain tissues implicates it in cancers in those tissues?

It looks like you've done a good job so far, but gene/protein nomenclature can get tricky so make sure you're keeping an eye on it: when you're talking about the gene itself it is italicized, and the protein product of the gene is not italicized.
