Hi Adnan Çolak! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Ögedei Khan several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Ögedei Khan, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Remsense ‥  04:31, 28 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

It's Ogo Day Khan's solar birthday on November 7th, why do you keep half-mooning? Adnan Çolak (talk) 04:40, 28 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
I told you why. Provide your sources on the talk page; when there's no specific day listed for historical incidents like this, it's usually because any sourcing for it is weak. Remsense ‥  04:42, 28 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
There is evidence from various wikis.

I care zero what other language wikis say; they are editorially independent from us, and us from them. Remsense ‥  04:43, 28 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

This is still not reliable. Please see WP:RS. Mellk (talk) 08:21, 28 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
What should I do when they keep saying no even though I keep giving them the source? Adnan Çolak (talk) 09:04, 28 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Please start a talk page discussion about this, considering you have been reverted multiple times now. I would suggest to find a book/journal that mentions this date and to provide a citation on the talk page. We cannot use self-published/user-generated sites, see WP:SPS. Again, we cannot use any wikis. These are user-generated sites. Mellk (talk) 09:34, 28 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Do I have to capture the book? Adnan Çolak (talk) 09:47, 28 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I would recommend to find a book (one that is not self-published). Mellk (talk) 09:50, 28 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
