Re: defamation is a cyber crime

You'd probably be better off directing your comments to the Chiricheppu AfD discussion -- there's a link in the AfD header, at that page. Generally speaking, it's usually considered bad form to remove that header from an article; it won't stop the article from being deleted, but it will stop interested editors from easily finding the discussion. Please work within process. :) Luna Santin 05:23, 14 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please stop removing the AfD header from the article -- if you continue, you may be blocked from editing. If you feel the article should be kept, you're much better off discussing than edit warring. Thanks. Luna Santin 05:51, 14 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

First of all, your implication that defamation is a cyber crime may be true, but this case is not a case of defamation. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia for notable content. Sadly your article Chiricheppu does not meet this criteria, which is why it has been nominated for deletion. Please do not remove the deletion notice header, as it is a violation of Wikipedia policies. Please also do not make legal threats, or you will be blocked from editing. --May the Force be with you! Hello Sir! Regarding your message on my talk page, I don't see how an AfD vote can be considered as defamation. Also, please understand that we have nothing (either personally or politically) against your magazine. We in good faith believe that Chiricheepu is one of the best satirical magazines in Malayalam. However, we are to strictly follow some rules here on wikipedia. These rules say that if a particular article is to be created here, then it should meet a particular level of notability. That is to state that if Jitesh merits an article for himself, then he should be as notable as people like Toms (is he?). I hope you understand. If you wish, I'm willing to talk to you in person about this. (I stay right beside the High Court. ;-) ). Cheers! -- thunderboltza.k.a.Deepu Joseph |TALK08:16, 15 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
