Think that you may be in error.

The West Coast of the United States is properly capitalized as such in common American usage. It is something of a term of art, like Midwestern United States or Southern United States; additionally, this helps to differentiate it on sight from other western coasts such as the western coast of Europe, the western coast of Africa, or the western coast of Japan. Beyond that, though, thanks for really carrying about Wikipedia and I hope you are more active in the future. 2600:1004:B109:BB50:C83B:65DE:7249:2B60 (talk) 18:30, 4 September 2021 (UTC)

Hi, @2600:1004:B109:BB50:C83B:65DE:7249:2B60 sorry, but I didn't see the change in capitalization. However, I saw that the edit in question also added a stray character "o" below the paragraph, which I assumed was in error and therefore a "test edit". Sorry for labeling it a test, I am unable to see the intent of edits. Happy editing, aeschylus (talk) 18:34, 4 September 2021 (UTC)

One warning for edit and auto blocked?

  1. Come now, I am a new editor - And I reverted a change in an article under Good Faith. I can't believe I get a block for 31 hours after just one edit.
@24.23.179.137, I was not the one who blocked you, and I don't have the privileges to do so. IP addresses can be used by more than one person, and someone else may be making malicious edits. I do agree that a block for one edit is unfair. Maybe make an account? That way, only you will be able to edit under that name. Also, except for some VPN/proxy services, blocks are never automatic. Your IP address was not blocked for that edit. You were blocked 4 days before that edit because someone under that IP address was making malicious edits. Not all edits are in the contributions page. Some are logged by abuse filter, which prevent the edit from being published. If you see here, someone on the IP address was making mass malicious edits that were caught by the abuse filter. This is not necessarily your fault, as an IP address can be shared by multiple people. Hope that helped,

Thank you. As this is a shared IP address from Comcast, I was not aware of it so I think I can create an account and hopefully avoid these warnings as it would seem it happens on a regular basis. 24.23.179.137 (talk) 01:39, 13 September 2021 (UTC)

Peer review for Pleural empyema

Hi aeschlylus, are you still interested in the peer review for pleural empyema? I was going to leave some comments but I saw your notice on your userpage so I thought I would check first. Zetana (talk) 03:37, 21 September 2021 (UTC)

You can leave some comments if you want, but it will probably take months for me to act on them. aeschylus (talk) 19:56, 22 September 2021 (UTC)
OK. I've closed the peer review for now (trying to work through the PR backlog). If you want to revisit the peer review, let me know and I can provide some feedback. Best wishes, Zetana (talk) 21:29, 22 September 2021 (UTC)
