A tag has been placed on Draft:Auto Insurance Specialists: AIS Insurance, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Undisclosed paid editing
edit Hello Afarin Majidi. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, such as the edit you made to Draft:Auto Insurance Specialists: AIS Insurance, and that you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Afarin Majidi. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Afarin Majidi|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 05:51, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
I work as editor of fiction not for AIS. I have an MFA in fiction writing. I was referring to the fact that my writing was considered "not neutral" and I believed it was neutral. My page was deleted for no reason. I had verifiable sources. There's no guidance here at allAfarin Majidi (talk) 21:11, 19 October 2017 (UTC)

editHello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 21:07, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
Minor edits
editThank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 21:57, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
Adding references can be easy
edit Hello! Here's how to add references from reliable sources for the content you add to Wikipedia. This helps maintain the Wikipedia policy of verifiability.
Adding well formatted references is actually quite easy:
- While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "Cite". Click on it.
- Then click on "Templates".
- Choose the most appropriate template and fill in as many details as you can. This will add a well formatted reference that is helpful in case the web URL (or "website link") becomes inactive in the future.
- Click on Preview when you're done filling out the 'Cite (web/news/book/journal)' to make sure that the reference is correct.
- Click on Insert to insert the reference into your editing window content.
- Click on Show preview to Preview all your editing changes.
- Before clicking on Save page, check that a References header ==References== is near the end of the article.
- And check that {{Reflist}} is directly underneath that header.
- 7. Click on Save page. ...and you've just added a complete reference to a Wikipedia article.
You can read more about this on Help:Edit toolbar or see this video File:RefTools.ogv.
Hope this helps, --John from Idegon (talk) 23:06, 19 October 2017 (UTC)

John from Idegon like everyone here who comes upon the article, Theroadislong has within seconds decided that it's advertisement. You helped me edit this and it couldn't be more neutral. How do I avoid all these people hating me because of my name or companies being listed on Wiki? Afarin Majidi (talk) 21:31, 20 October 2017 (UTC)

You undeleted my file so I assumed you were an admin. This is impartial and it seems the company is notable enough to be invited to appear on ABC. - With regard to seeing if something is notable, first find two sources that are reliable, are secondary sources making commentary or analysis, and are independent of the company, its owners, and its associated. Only then, using the information in these two sources, start writing content in the first version. After that, you are free to add lesser sources, but keep non-independent sourcing to a minimum. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 01:58, 11 November 2017 (UTC)
