Speedy deletion of Agora (W3C Project)

A tag has been placed on Agora (W3C Project) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Varela project unrelated to Honduras

The section you added to the article on Honduras about the Varela project is interesting in relation to the paragraph immediately preceding it. However, it does not relate to the topic of the article. Cuba resists constitutional change; OK. But next to nobody would compare those who resist overt constitutional change in Honduras (that is, the anti-Zelaya faction) to the Cubans, or claim that Zelaya resists constitutional change. So the metaphor has nowhere to go. I am removing it for a second time from the article. Regards, Homunq (talk) 00:07, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of "List of First Ladies of Cuba"

The article "List of First Ladies of Cuba" has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Pointless list, possible POV-pushing

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. There is a List of First Ladies of the Soviet Union, a List of First Ladies of Brazil, a List of the Czechoslovak and Czech First Ladies, a List of First Ladies of France and even a List of First Ladies of Turkey, so why not Cubans. And what kind of POV would I be pushing, these people existed, did they not?
