Can you merge IP edits to a username in Wikipedia? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Agent Ax (talk • contribs) 05:22, October 26, 2015 (UTC)
- No. Edits done under an IP address cannot be merged to a named account. You can put a link on your userpage to the IP's contribution page if you want but that would identify your account with that IP. Also, since IPs can change it is possible that someone else would be assigned that IP and continue to make edits with it. If you have any further questions please feel free to ask on my talk page or to put another {{help-me}} request. Also, please remember to sign your posts on talk pages by putting ~~~~ at the end. --Stabila711 (talk) 05:47, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
Why you reject my edit ? please help me to update that article. This is the sources http://www.religiouspopulation.com put Islam followers about 2 billion.--ReginaIndo (talk) 04:36, 29 October 2015 (UTC)
Dear Agent AX, I hope you are well. You are mistaken to see my revert on the Salafi page as being merely a case of personal liking. There was a logic to my edits. The reference on the Salafi page to Muhammad was a straightforward reference to the historical person, which is why the wikilink Muhammad is ideal. It was not a reference to any theological analysis to his role in the religion of Islam, which is why I undid your edit which linked to Muhammad in Islam. With respect, I hope you'll reflect on the difference and make an adjustment. I am not edit warring, and won't revert again in case I break the three-revert rule.
