Speedy deletion nomination of Pocket Aces Pictures Private Limited (Company)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Pocket Aces Pictures Private Limited (Company) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. -- φ OnePt618Talk φ 04:58, 9 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Sean Byrnes

edit

The article Sean Byrnes has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet notability criteria. Sources given are either about the companies or they are articles or podcasts by him.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ... discospinster talk 19:23, 20 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello Aj30003000. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Aj30003000. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Aj30003000|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. ... discospinster talk 19:31, 20 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello discospinster talk, I have not been paid nor am I expecting any kind of payment in the future. Sean is a relative of a close friend of mine. I got his request from that friend.
Also I would like to point that, his career has been provided in the notable publication like techcrunch and venturebeat. He does not have enough to talk about, which is why only important information has been given in the article. I would request you for helping me improve the article.Aj30003000 (talk) 01:41, 21 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Issuing level 1 warning about removing AfD template from articles before the discussion is complete. (Peachy 2.0 (alpha 8))

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with ZunRoof. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 05:53, 22 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Moving drafts to mainspace

edit

Please do not move draft articles to mainspace – such articles should be reviewed for possible issues. Since Draft:Fynd had several issues making the draft unsuitable for mainspace at this time, it should not have been moved. An additional issue is the fact that the Wikipedia editing community determined a couple of years ago that the company does not meet the notability requirements, and that makes it even more important that an editor with experience of determining notability reviews the article. (If it had remained in mainspace it would certainly have been nominated for deletion again.) --bonadea contributions talk 18:38, 23 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

improper request

edit
You apparently do not understand what the purpose iof Wikipedia is. It is not for advertising, or publishing pages about one;'s friend's enterprises. The people who write here work as volunteers, including the administrators such as myself. One of the most foolish things you could do here is exactly what you have just done, offered to pay an administrator here for help in keeping an article. DGG ( talk ) 02:00, 24 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
