Unfortunately, I have had to revert your additions to the list of "Notables" in the Kayastha article.
Castes cause a lot of edit-warring on Wikipedia with people claiming famous people to be members of their caste, or putting people they like in a higher caste, or putting people they don't like in a lower caste.
Furthermore, many people are rejecting the caste system, so only those who self-identify as being a member of a caste, should be included, names and/or family members being in a caste are not an acceptable proof.

As it clearly states on the edit page, just above where you added the names:-

Please make sure to only add names of people that already have an article on Wikipedia, and make sure that their article mentions their Kayastha membership and provides a reliable source to support it. In the case of the Bachchan family, they have specifically rejected membership of castes & therefore should not be included here, eg: http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2011-07-28/news-interviews/29821192_1_caste-aarakshan-amitabh-bachchan

So, Amitabh Bachchan is not acceptable, as the Bachchan family reject caste membership
Shatrughan Sinha is not acceptable, as Kayastha are not even mentioned in his article, let alone providing a reliable source to prove that membership. - Arjayay (talk) 11:34, 20 October 2014 (UTC)
