Transformer resins

edit

Regarding your edit to the transformer page, could you provide your source of information on transformer resins please? This is needed to comply with our verifiability policy. SpinningSpark 09:39, 3 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Following up on Spinningspark's request, the entire section "Insulation drying" does not cite any reliable sources. You seem knowledgeable about the subject; perhaps you have sources at hand and could provide citations to support the rest of the section. This would allow readers to research further if they are interested in the area, and have confidence that there are reliable sources to support what is claimed in the article.
Ordinarily, new citations are added using the style established for the article, bit this article has no established style, so use any method you want and we will hope someone cleans up the style of the citations in the future. Jc3s5h (talk) 13:51, 3 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

I have replied to you at User talk:Jc3s5h#Transformer article. SpinningSpark 17:03, 23 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Signing article edits

edit

Please don't sign "~~~~" edits to articles. Who contributes to articles can be found in the wp:page history. Otherwise, there would be so many "edited by ..." that there would be no room for the topic! Jim1138 (talk) 00:45, 15 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Writing an article

edit

See wp:Your first article. Make sure that the person meets wp:notability (people) and follow wp:biographies of living persons. You can use a wp:Article for Creation (AfC) or write it in your sandbox such as user:Ajsharma01/Brij Sharma. You can click on the link and start editing. You might want to leave a link on user:Ajsharma so you can easily access it. (Leave out the "Mr." per Wiki naming conventions). If you have questions, I would recommend that you ask at the wp:teahouse. I am not really a good reference for this sort of thing. Speaking of references, make sure your article wp:cites wp:reliable sources. See help:referencing for beginners and [[help:footnotes. Look at other well-written articles on similar people. Hope this isn't too overwhelming. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 00:45, 15 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Category:Redirects from moves, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of User:Ajsharma01/sandbox

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Ajsharma01/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. —SerialNumber54129 paranoia /cheap sh*t room 14:16, 9 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
