Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! 220 of Borg 17:51, 5 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Cpt.a.haddock. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Battle of Buxar, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Also, as someone has already mentioned, please attach an edit summary to your edits. Cpt.a.haddock (talk) 05:46, 24 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Human3015. An edit that you recently made to Karachi seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Human3015 knock knock • 23:37, 28 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Kingdom of Mysore. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Cpt.a.haddock (talk) 02:19, 29 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Karachi. Yamaguchi先生 23:27, 29 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.   Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Second Anglo-Maratha War. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you.  Philg88 talk 07:24, 25 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia. You've been doing this on many articles. Furthermore, you've already received numerous warnings about it, yet you haven't bettered your editorial pattern in the slightest, and have only continued with this highly disruptive, policy-breaking behaviour. - LouisAragon (talk) 13:14, 29 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution

edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from History of Balochistan into Quetta. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. If you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 18:58, 9 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I will post appropriate reference. Sometimes it's difficult to get reference since the info is well known to locals Akahddlo (talk) 19:53, 20 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

You probably should not have ignored all of those warnings you've been receiving for months. Please take the time to read our policies on copyrights, verifiability and reliable sources. If you wish to be unblock, you'll need to do a better job of convincing us that you understand why you are blocked. OhNoitsJamie Talk 20:38, 20 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I have read the guide to appealing blocks. Also read policies on copyrights, verifiability and reliable sources. Will adhere to the policies.Thank you.

OK, you have paraphrased the comment fromOhnoitsjamie. But in view of your previous behavior I would like to know why you ignored previous warnings; also, what now is your understanding of a reliable source? --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 19:47, 5 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
