This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Guillermo Reynaldo Cortez, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: William Cortez Reynaldo. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 02:18, 29 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

I was told by an administrator about a year ago that the similar article would be deleted. If it hasn't been, please delete. Thanks- Alannaldrett

New Haven

Hi! I just read your improvements to the above named article. I am sorry to say, but I have some bad news. They are verbatim copied from the website referenced, which is copyrighted. I realize that you are the original author of the work on Macomb County's website, but they have the copyright, not you. Since you are the original author, I would think it shouldn't be too hard to rewrite it so it isn't a copyright violation, Alternately, you could get the county to release the copyright to Wikipedia, but that would be a huge hassle for you. See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. I am giving you a friendly heads up at this time, but you can expect a bot to find it soon and delete it. I am truly sorry to be the bearer of bad news. It is very interesting and you obviously put some work into it. Please don't be discouraged. Gtwfan52 (talk) 07:41, 9 September 2012 (UTC) Thanks for the information. I'll go through and rewrite it a bit.Reply

Thanks for the info. I have rewritten the article so as not to plagiarize my original missive.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Roy Kellerman, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page New Baltimore (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Suggestion at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/John S. Coppin

edit

Good start, but you're not quite using footnoting properly; the actual code goes right amongst the text, and it auto-populates down at the bottom: Apples are red.<ref>Book of Apples, Acme Press pg 43</ref>.

Also, just glancing at GoogleBooks I'm seeing a lot of coverage about Coppin's career. You have a lot of info in the article, and it's not at all clear where you got the info from, so please footnote in all your source, and check GoogleBooks for more sources. Note you can use http://reftag.appspot.com to auto-footnote gBooks URLs.

Great start, just needs some format/sourcing tweak. Those skills will serve you well in all future articles too. Keep up the good work! MatthewVanitas (talk) 15:46, 11 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Frank Murphy

edit

On the Matilda Dodge Wilson page, Frank Murphy is listed as Lt. Governor. Two questions: 1. Why isn't his bio linked to the Frank Murphy page. 2. Murphy appears to have been on the U.S. Supreme Court the same years he is listed as Michigan Lt. Governor. Can anybody clarify this? Thanks!! Never mind. I found out that there was another Frank Murphy, Frank E. Murphy who was Lt. Governor.

Alan Naldrett moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Alan Naldrett, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
