Mongolia work group
editHi, I'd like to invite you to the Mongolia work group of the WikiProject Central Asia. You're welcome to add that page to your watchlist and participate in discussions there. So far, many general discussions about topics related to Mongolia have been discussed on individual user's talk pages, away from the attention of a wider audience. I hope that a centralized talk page will make communication between all of us easier. If a question doesn't primarily concern just one specific user, then the work group is probably the right place to ask it. See you there! --Latebird (talk) 06:20, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
Ventureño language
editHi Alaquwel, thanks for posting appreciation for "Correction to consonant chart - Ventureño language" on my talk page, however all I did was fix the broken link to Chumash people. Another editor deserves your kind attention much more. Thanks---Look2See1 t a l k → 22:03, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
Hi. Are you think replace kh to h in Mongolian language
editI think that is too. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Naming_conventions_(Mongolian)#Replace_From_.22kh.22_to_.22h.22. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MongolWiki (talk • contribs) 03:27, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
/h/ is better than /kh/
editThank you for your question. /h/ is a much better suggestion than /kh/. The digraph is outdated, pointless, Euro-centric, and it obscures the ability to read Mongolian phonetically and phonologically. /x/ would actually be an ideal replacement, but /h/ is better than /kh/.
