Hi @Alasia50: I'm providing online support for your class at UMD and I have a few comments on your draft:

  • If you're looking for an example of an article covering a similar subject I'd say Janise Yntema is fairly well laid out.
  • Remember that references and "wikilinks" are distinct. Wikilinks are links generated between wikipedia pages, so [[George Coventry, 9th Earl of Coventry]] renders as George Coventry, 9th Earl of Coventry in text, while references don't need the two square brackets around them (and as you've seen this tends to look odd on the page). Also, we don't reference wikipedia articles from other articles. we may link to them in text or allow for another article to provide context but "references" are exclusively pointers to reliable sources (Which don't need to be online but often are, in practice).

When you add some more to the draft please let me know and I'll take another look at it. The best way to reach me is by leaving a message on my talk page. Adam (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:49, 5 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

I did a little to get some of the formatting started - and from the authority control records (see the bottom of the sandbox page), she was often known as Anne Singh. Are you finding enough content about her? I am only finding that she wrote the book Living in India.--CaroleHenson (talk) 07:27, 10 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
