About Bach

edit

From the Bach page I linked to kunstderfuge.com/bach.htm since they have all MIDI files of Bach (c. 2,000 seems). You don't need to put other links: all Chorales and other works are inside the first site. Also note that from classicalmidiconnection you can't download any file. Please do not put redundant sites. :)

Have a good day. Tony 07:08, 29 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

About Bach

edit

Kunst der Fuge is a commercial site. They sell MIDI files, and apparently they are all over Wikipedia. I have no problem with it if you allow KTF to spam the site, but to make them exclusive is a bit offensive.

The Classical MIDI Connection is one of the oldest and largest MIDI archives, with over 1,000 Bach files. This site is free, which makes it an alternative to Kunst der Fuge, so it's not "redundant". The files can be played and also downloaded (-), ask the webmaster if for some reason it doesn't work for you. If you guys keep removing the Classical MIDI Connection link from the Bach page it will eliminate a valuable resource for people who can not afford to pay for their classical music.

Have an interesting day. Midisynth 07:43, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

(-) This is not true. Alegreen 07:53, 12 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi Midisynth!

I really have no problem with the classicalmidiconnection. Only they do not offer downloading of files... why? And you call it a free website? However kunstderfuge.com seems to be not a commercial site as you say. They only requires, as wikipedia do and so many other website, and this just to survive, a contribution to save in costs (please read through the site).

In any case you should correct your link and description adding that files at cmc can not be downloaded. Alegreen 07:50, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Alessandro Deljavan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Perry (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Betulia liberata

edit

Hi Alegreen, in 2006, on editing the article on Betulia liberata, you assigned the aria "Prigionier che fa ritorno" to the character of Giuditta, whereas it seems to be sung by Ozìa. I wonder if you would be so kind as to check. Thank you.--Jeanambr (talk) 16:14, 13 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Maybe it is sung by Ozìa only in the Jommelli version?--Jeanambr (talk) 16:36, 13 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
