Thank you for your edits on the above article. Your addition of a reference is much appreciated. Now that so many of the manuals are online as pdf's, please could you kindly provide url's for your references? For assistance with formatting citations, just click on "cite" at the top of the edit box, and it will give you a simple form to fill in. If you are not happy about formatting the citations, please just add the url and I'd be happy to format it for you.
I note your above image of an A700 appears to have been deleted. If so, the reason is likely to be either that it is still in copyright, or that you forgot to add a free-use licence to the form. If you took the picture yourself, and you think it could be put right if it were undeleted, it would be worth asking a Wikimedia Commons administrator for assistance (I cannot undelete, myself, but I can help with the most common licences). Meanwhile, we have two pictures of A700s here, if that is any help. Thank you again. Storye book (talk) 11:19, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you for your email. It's probably better to continue the discussion here, as it keeps information all together, and it allows other ediitors to come in and help, should they wish. I have contacted Jarekt who would be able to undelete your image and let you know. I have offered to help with the licence if that is required.
- If you need to contact any editor, click on the "talk" part of their username, and then edit their talk page. Convention requires that you add your message to the bottom of their talk page, and sign your message with four tildes, like this ~~~~.
- The reason for the WP requirement for third-party citations/references is that we need to be able to verify information. A url makes this an easy job, and you can use the "cite" facility at the top of the edit page. Thank you for the url that you sent - I'll adjust your citation (if someone hasn't done that already).
- Let me know if you need any more assistance. It is great that you are helping us with the Kenwood Chef page. Storye book (talk) 13:51, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- The url which you sent me doesn't seem to support any of the statements which you added to Kenwood Chef. I accept that your cited documents are not online yet. Sorry, it would not help us to scan them, as they are not yet out of copyright. However it would help if you could add a little more detail to your first citation, such as the title of the document? Thank you. Storye book (talk) 14:05, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- Jarekt has now let me know that your licence and authorship information on your image file were fine. The problem was, that the editor who deleted it didn't know that you owned the company to which the image belongs. The picture was small and had been taken off the internet, which made them think that you had taken someone's copyrighted picture. The solution is to find your own original image file for that picture (large version, so they know it's yours) and upload it again in the normal way. Give the same information as before, but add a statement that you own the company and the picture. Let me know if you have further problems. Storye book (talk) 14:22, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you for your message and talk with jarekt about the issue with picture of Kenwood mixer, you right I owner of Kenwood Chef Restore Ltd and Kenwood Chef Service Ltd. many of our pictures are on Instagram, Pinterest and our websites, understand need to source the original picture, I would do that and upload again or talk with jarekt about this
- As you said before is correct, many information about vintage Kenwood models and specification is not on line due the age, the link provided just refer to one model A701/A
- im happy to provide extra information and source to complete the citation and to get all right with the accurate information, thanks again Alex1975uk (talk) 20:18, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you. Let me know the url of your new image page when you upload it, and I'll check it for you, to make sure there is no cause for deletion this time. Good luck! Storye book (talk) 20:31, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
