Welcome!

Hello, InSiteful13, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I notice that one of the first articles you edited was Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Intelligent InSites, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!   Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you edited or created Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Intelligent InSites, and I noticed that the username you have chosen, "InSiteful13", seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of something other than yourself. Please note that you may not edit on behalf of a company, group, institution, product, or website which relates to the entity in question, and Wikipedia does not allow usernames that are promotional or accounts that are shared. If you are willing to use a personal account, please take a moment to create a new account or request a username change that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our Conflict of interest guideline and Plain and simple conflict of interest guide, and remember that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. SarahStierch (talk) 06:30, 15 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please disclose your connection to Intelligent InSite here on this page. There is a concern that you may be directly associated with the company and therefore should not be editing on the company's behalf. Please explain your connection here before making any further edits on the subject. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 16:31, 5 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

My roommate works for the company. I'm a student and have always liked Wikipedia. I think creating articles on Wikipedia would be a unique element to my resume as I will be graduating soon. My roommate has told me some cool things about his company and I saw they didn't have a Wikipedia page. I was unaware of the COI policy, and would happily change my username to comply with the rules. I'm mostly just interested in the company and learning how to create quality articles that a future hiring manager could look at. -- InSiteful13 (u) (t) (c) 12:00, 5 July 2013 (CST)

The first thing you should do is to change your username at WP:CHU/S. Second, please read and become very familiar with WP:COI as you still have a conflict of interest in that you have a connection to the company. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 17:10, 5 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
I've now applied for a name change via WP:CHU/S to AlexOnWiki44 to avoid promotional appearances and to show the account is owned by one person. From what I interpret from WP:COI, my conflict of interest with this article is indirect and as long as I remain unbiased there should be no problems. I will continue to revise and improve this article to ensure an unbiased nature before contributing to or creating other articles. -- InSiteful13 (u) (t) (c) 13:09, 5 July 2013 (CST)

Draft:Intelligent InSites concern

edit

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Intelligent InSites, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:30, 8 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Intelligent InSites

edit

Hello AlexOn37. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Intelligent InSites".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Intelligent InSites}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 14:00, 7 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
