Alex Selby
Hi
editHi. Good to see you here :-) Stephen B Streater 14:43, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- Keeping quiet about this, weren't you? I happened to be updating Selby (disambiguation). Charles Matthews 19:32, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Charles. If you mean I was keeping quiet about my Wikipedia ID, then perhaps I was, but I'm new to this and I don't know if or where I should be registering the fact that I have such an ID. By the way, is there an easier way to reply where you don't have to manually add your name and the date? Alex Selby 13:42, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
- Type ~~~~ at the end. The Show Preview button shows you what it will look like. Stephen B Streater 14:27, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
Free licence
editHi Alex. I'd like to release this video under a free licence, which would mean it couldn't be recalled. Please could you give written consent here, and ask your opponent to do the same, along with any conditions attached (say none if none). This was very popular as a non-free video, but Wikipedia aims are to promote free content, and there is no reason not to release it as far as I am concerned. Stephen B Streater 08:58, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
- Feel free to release it with no restrictions. Alex Selby 13:37, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
- I am also happy to have it released with no restrictions. Ingrid Jendrzejewski (the opponent). 13:37, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. It will be appearing on a Go article near you :-) Stephen B Streater 14:28, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
- You might want to add a subtitle explaining the komi. It sounds like you've said that komi is 2 (which most people would expect to go to white), but since black won by one point it looks like the komi is actually 3 to black.Alex Selby 10:36, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- OK - I'll have a look. Stephen B Streater 10:50, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- I've fixed that. You might like to check it here. I'll upload a new version. Stephen B Streater 12:48, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
