Image Tagging Image:Ruslanamama.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Ruslanamama.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or {{fairuse}}. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. -- SoothingR(pour) 20:58, 27 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:WikiProject Eurovision

edit

Hello, mate, I see that you are interested in Eurovision. Would you like to be involved in connecting with more eurovision wikipedians to do up the eurovision pages in a more coherent manner? I have come across the Eurovision wikiproject page, which seems to have been dormant for over two years. It may be an idea to have a look there and see how we could improve the eurovision coverage. I have done up the Congratulations (Eurovision) page so far and put notes about it on the pages of those who performed there. Best regards from Australia, Blnguyen 23:56, 7 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading Image:040512 bl semi ukraine.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Image legality questions page. Thank you.

Image Tagging Image:90ruslana.jpg

This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:90ruslana.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. Anna Stepvania Lyzhcko - strange name

edit

Hi,

Are you sure that the name Anna Stepvania Lyzhcko is spelled like that? It seems like a mistake. I can't find this name anywhere else on the Internet. --Amir E. Aharoni 12:06, 27 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

I don't know for sure if her family name is Lyzchko! Her stage name in Romania was Anna Lesko --User:Alexandru Busa
Thanks for the reply.
On Wikipedia, when someone sends you a message on your talk page, you should reply on the same page. I copied your reply here.
Also - you should sign your name. To sign your name the easy way, write --~~~~.
About Anna Lesko - if she is best known by that name you should just call the article "Anna Lesko" so it would be easier to find.
Is this the same singer - Anna Lesko? --Amir E. Aharoni 12:23, 27 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yes

edit

Yes hse is her.

Now she is much beautyfull!

So how I can change the article's name in Anna Lesko????

Click "move" at the top of the page. --Amir E. Aharoni 12:46, 27 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

That picture is NOT the REAL Anna Lesko! She does not live in New Zealand!

Is the template really needed?

edit

Is the template {{danube}} really needed? All the information could be easily and non-intrusively provided by category and the result would be much less distriacting than the colored box. Pavel Vozenilek 19:32, 27 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

You've changed the state language from Moldovan to Romanian there. This contradicts the constitutions of both Republic Moldova and PMR. http://www.parlament.md/law/constitution/t1/
Article 13, State language.
I assume this was an innocent edit and that you are unaware of edit wars that raged on the issue a few months ago. The dust just settled and the article has already seen some NPOV improvement. Please, don't rekindle the old fires. :-) Sincerely, Illythr 23:23, 30 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

What??

edit

The Moldovans are very stupid (no offence to you. The ones who changed the name)! They speak and learn at schools the Romanian language. Why the are calling the Romanian language in Moldovan language????

Apropo , vorbesti limba Romana????

As far as I'm concerned, the language can be called whatever the people want it to be called. It's mainly called Romanian over here anyway. However, the Moldovan (and Transnistrian) Constitution explicitly states the state language as Moldovan and we have no choice, but to respect this, since it's as official as it can get.

Buna,
Bucharest Metro articles

Hi. I notice that you have created article for Carrefour Militari metro station and Preciziei metro station, as well as a new map. Do you have any source for these stations being opened in 2014? In any case, since their opening is a long way away, they shouldn't really be featured on maps (there are already plans for line M5 and for other extensions, but these are also not featured because it clutters the map). Creating articles for these stations is OK, but they should not be integrated into the station navigator because it will just create confusion. Thanks,    Ronline 07:46, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Logojunioresc2006.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Logojunioresc2006.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

Chernova Ruta

edit

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Chernova Ruta, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Fair use rationale for Image:25ruslana01-big.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:25ruslana01-big.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Unspecified source for Image:25ruslana01-big.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:25ruslana01-big.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:29, 24 May 2007 (UTC). AfD nomination of Ruslana's Charity_Concert

edit

I've nominated Ruslana's Charity_Concert, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Ruslana's Charity_Concert satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ruslana's Charity_Concert and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Ruslana's Charity_Concert during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Speedy deletion of Myt' Vesny - Dzvinkyj Viter Live

edit

A tag has been placed on Myt' Vesny - Dzvinkyj Viter Live requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The article Linda Valori has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. File source problem with File:Coa dealu ro.JPG

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Coa dealu ro.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 13:45, 9 September 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 13:45, 9 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Template:JuniorEurovisionCountries

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Mhiji (talk) 13:41, 30 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
