In general, though: there's no need to change date formatting (per the MOS); lists of characters and locations (particularly uncited) is gameguide trivia (see WP:VGSCOPE); given that it's just a sentence or two, there's no need for a separate timeline section; and with the only source a post on a forum, there's not enough information to warrant a separate novelization section, which in any case can be sufficiently covered in the lead. I note, too, that you made claims about the novel -- it filling in background information in the game -- that was not substantiated by your linked source.
