Hello, I'm A. B.. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page Spam in blogs, because to me it seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. A. B. In response to your message, the problem is that none of your sources are independent. Having all sources like the ones you have aren't enough to establish notability. Akismet didn't go through the Articles for Creation process, so that's why it's on here. Lugia2453 (talk) 15:33, 10 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

When I say independent, I mean sources like newspaper articles (online or printed) and online articles from major (or at least, well known) news companies. In order to establish notability, one of the things a company needs is coverage from news outlets. Blogs aren't very reliable sources. Be sure to read Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies) if you haven't already done so. Lugia2453 (talk) 18:13, 10 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
