Making changes
editRegarding the article Case-control study ... I simply restored an old version of the lead section, because articles need lead sections not because I think it is absolutely correct or would in any way resist changes to it. You should generally just go ahead and make progressive changes to articles as you think fit. It is easy, using the various facilities of Wikipedia, for users to find out what has been changed during a particular edit, or sequence of edits, whereas if a new version is presented on the Talk page changes aren't easy to spot. Don't worry too much about making mistakes as everyone needs to start by gaining experience with Wikipedia. One point is that is usual to add material at the bottom of Talk pages. I see -thanks! I did as you suggest and have posted a newer version of the page in question directly (i.e. not on the talk page). The sad thing about the talk page though is that all the comments are from 2008 or earlier. Thanks so much for the information though. Alic D (talk) 23:15, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
