Feedback on your article

edit

Hello AlicjaLais, Thank you for writing your article in your sandbox! I have read the article and would like to give some feedback to improve your article to Wikipedia standards and customs. While your tutor will judge it content wise, I will look if it meets the quality standards we have on Wikipedia. I standard look for a series of subjects that need improvement or are okay.

  • Intro sentence: please check more existing articles, we make the subject in the first sentence bold.
  • Links: Use more links to other Wikipedia articles! More keywords in your article need to get a link. These includes: cyberbullying, online shaming, and more.
  • Headers: Please use much less capitals. Normally only the first word is capitalised, unless it is a name. Try to shorten your headers, they are about 50% longer than needed and average.
  • References: Please add references behind the dot, and no space before the reference. Behind one sentence still "(p.218)" is there, please change. Too limited number of references, we need more! The general rule is, after every two or three sentences a reference. And you can use references multiple times, as described here.
  • Other: add at bottom of your page a header References and below it you add: {{Reflist}}
  • Ready to publish: because your article is about online community, and the article Online community already exists in Wikipedia, your article can't be published as we only have one article about each subject. You can consider if sections from your article can be added to the existing article.

I hope you can implement this feedback to your sandbox article before our next meeting. Thanks! Romaine (talk) 12:46, 28 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
