The machines are an indispensable part of our life. We are so much attached to it that it is almost impossible to smoothly carry out our day to day life, without having our electronic gadgets nearby. It could be medical science, involving robotic surgery, space research, manufacturing plants, weather forecasting, the security of important buildings and installations, and many more. Artificial intelligence (making use of algorithms) is involved in planning, learning, reasoning, problem-solving, and decision making processes. Noteworthy Features The noteworthy features of artificial intelligence are as follows: • There is a Weak AI/Narrow AI to perform singular tasks like voice assistant, --AICRA (talk) 17:12, 16 October 2020 (UTC)speech recognition, facial recognition, self-driving cars, and programmed to accomplish the specific tasks. The popular examples of Narrow AI are - Cortana by Microsoft, Alexa by Amazon, Siri by Apple, facial recognition software, drone robots, Google search, and email spam filters – to name a few. Further to add, the applications comprise deep learning with deep neural networks leading to a higher level of preciseness and accuracy. • There is Strong AI/Deep AI/ artificial general intelligence (AGI) to mimic human intelligence and solve a plethora of problems that exist in one form or another. It is estimated that in the coming future, Strong AI is going to make a powerful impact. • There is Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI), where machine surpasses the ability and intelligence of human beings. Here, ASI is exceedingly better than all the tasks undertaken by human beings such as mathematics, sports, art, science, hobbies, medicine, and the list goes on. Artificial Intelligence is constantly evolving and assisting businesses working with the multidisciplinary approach. It is incredibly fruitful for financial institutions, including banking and insurance division. In banks, AI helps in protecting the valuable assets by putting a check on suspicious and fraudulent activity, undertaken by any unauthorized user. Components in Artificial Intelligence The learning, reasoning, optimal decision making and perception are the primary objective of artificial intelligence. This enables machines to carry out simple to complex operations (like hospital operating room or self-driving cars) – with subtle preciseness and accuracy.
