I attempted to edit the article about Enrico Berlinguer with a note about the origin of his surmame-it's Catalan-but was blocked. I may be the victim of am imposter.Alloco1 18:26, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
Inadverdant change re New York Yankees. Was I the victim of an imposter?Alloco1 00:09, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

This message is regarding the page Álex Rodríguez. Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. -- Rhobite 23:34, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
Re my remarks on Alex Rodriguez: This ISN"T nonsense; it's been an issue ever since he came to the Yankees, and therefore legitimate. P.S.: I'm a Yankee fan and sympathetic to Rodriguez.Alloco1 04:27, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
- There is a right way and a wrong way to write that some fans think A-rod isn't a big game player.. using the word "ineptness" is probably the wrong way. Rhobite 21:34, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
Your changes to "The DiMaggio era" section of yankees article
editWhy did you put a blank line in the middle of 2 words? --rogerd 23:41, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
If I did it, it was inadvertant.Alloco1 00:06, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
Alex Rodriguez
editWhy did you you edit out my comment about the spelling of his surname? It was simply a helpful response to a question about the written accent (or rather lack of same) and hence legitimate. P.S. I have taught Spanish for many years at the college level and know what I'm talking about.Alloco1 17:04, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
- It appeared to be vandalism. In your edit, you changed "was named" to "wasnamed" and "his wife" to "jwife". In retrospect, it appears that some of the other changes you made in that edit were not vandalism. I will put them back. Why did you make those changes? --rogerd 17:12, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
Alloco, I think you are confused. I did not edit any of your comments. zellin t / c 22:32, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
Rubén Darío
editI believe I've sorted out at least most of the mess at Rubén Darío. I've also tracked down two good sources. If you are interested in carrying the article forward, we could probably build a pretty decent article even just from those. -- Jmabel | Talk 05:20, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
Why was I blocked? What is wrong with my user name? (I've used it for awhile.) As for a vandal using my IP address, that I can't control.Alloco1 16:47, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Conservapedia
editI find their site absolutely fascinating so I had to investigate your situation. I don't know if you knew this but your ban was only for two hours and another editor called the blocker on it. That was absolutely ridiculous. Edit user page, edit a talk page, block. After whatever you had to go through to get an account. Your block must be expired by now, I'd go and report that sysop. (Oh, I did a minor edit on your entry... it looks like you cut and paste part of your phrase into another line of the section.) Mykll42 09:31, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
