Re: Ratings.
Correct... it is confusing I know... but the way they have always been reported in Australia is: SHARES: Primetime Only (6pm-12) TOP AUDIENCES: All Day.
Thanks for helping to maintain the pages too, great to have more people on board. :)
RE: Seven News Fill-Ins
I'm sorry allrailfan but at you said that the main fill-in could be put into the article if there is only one! All I wrote was three sentences (How on earth could they make the page too cluttered) and each of those sentences were added in to the paragraph! I am sick and tired of people deleting things that don't even need to be deleted. And if anyone wants to know all I wrote was "Rebecca Maddern oftern travels to Sydney to fill-in for the service". That's all so get over it Mr. Rail!
P.S. I am adding the sentences back in so don't even bother deleting them because I will just keep adding them!!!!!! Timmyvermi (talk) 06:52, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

Possibly unfree File:Austrains DL Back Side.JPG
editA file that you uploaded or altered, File:Austrains DL Back Side.JPG, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. --Acather96 (talk) 06:33, 14 May 2011 (UTC)
- I'm sorry to say I've nominated all your other pictures of model trains/rolling stock for deletion as well - for the same reason as given in the first nomination. Don't take it personally, it's just Wikipedia has to be so careful when it comes to copyright :) Acather96 (talk) 06:35, 14 May 2011 (UTC)
I am mystified as to why this and your other uploads are being discussed for deletion. Please:
- go to Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files/2011 May 14 and make it clear that they are your work
- upload future images to the Commons
- always use meaningful names - not like File:IMG 2860.JPG or File:RQIW.JPG
- use a Creative Commons licence - there is no need for PD

Content removed
editDear Alltrainzfan:
The Wikimedia Foundation (“Wikimedia”) has taken down content that you posted here: List of Australian television ratings for 2009 because someone alleged that your post infringes on a copyright. You can see their communication here: http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/DMCA_OZTAM
When someone makes a validly formulated notice of copyright infringement, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) requires Wikimedia to take the content down and to notify you that we have removed the content. This notice, by itself, does not mean that anyone is suing you. The take-down requestor might only be interested in removing the content from our site.
- What Can You Do?
You are not obligated to take any action, but if you feel that your content does not infringe on any copyrights, you can contest the take-down request by submitting a ‘counter-notice’ to us. Before doing so, you should understand your legal position and you may wish to consult with an attorney. If you submit a counter-notice, the alleged copyright holder can stop us from restoring the content by suing you. Please note that Wikimedia will not be a party to any legal action that arises from you sending a counter-notice, and that Wikimedia is unable to provide you with legal advice.
- Filing a Counter-Notice
If you choose to submit a counter notice, you must send a letter to legal wikimedia.org asking Wikimedia to restore your content. The letter must comply with DMCA standards and must contain the following:
- A link to where the content was before we took it down;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe the content was taken down mistakenly;
- Your name, address, and phone number;
- If your address is in the United States, a statement that says “I consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court in the district where my address is located, and I will accept service of process from the person who complained about the content I posted”; or if your address is outside the United States, a statement that says “I agree to accept service of process in any jurisdiction where I can be found”; and finally,
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Pursuant to the DMCA, Wikimedia must inform the alleged copyright holder that you sent us a counter-notice and give the alleged copyright holder a copy of the counter-notice. We will restore the content you posted within ten (10) to fourteen (14) business days, provided that the alleged copyright holder does not give notice of suit to restrain re-posting of the material.
- Miscellaneous
As a matter of policy and under appropriate circumstances, the WMF will block the accounts of repeat infringers as provided under the DMCA.
If you would like to learn more about Wikimedia’s policies, please refer to the Wikimedia Terms of Use, available at http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Terms_of_use and the Wikimedia Legal Policies, available at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Legal/Legal_Policies. Invitation
editThere is a backstage pass coming up to be followed by an editathon in the State Library of New South Wales on 23 November. This is the first time that an Australian cultural institution has opened its doors to us in this way and will be a special opportunity because the Library is providing: one of its best rooms; its expert curators (along with their expertise and their white gloves); a newly launched website (containing new resources); and of course, items from its collection (including rare and usually unavailable material) which we can look at, learn from, and use, to improve WP articles. For example, on the chosen topic (Australia and WWI), the Library holds many diaries and manuscripts from the period.
As you can see from the Library's project page, they have connected this editathon with their own work. They have already set out a wide range of resources to make things easier for us. Please sign up on the editathon project page if you can participate either online or in person with other Wikipedians. Hope to see you there! Lankiveil (speak to me) 07:10, 3 November 2013 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
