Romanization of Kyrgyz
editHi, I noticed you've been replacing names of places in Kyrgyzstan (e.g. Osh, Kurshab and Kara-Suu District) with a different type of romanization, probably the PAU system (resp. Oş, Qurşab and Qara-Suu District). The standard romanization system for Kyrgyz names used in English Wikipedia is the BGN system, which seems to be the most recognizable system for English speakers. While it's probably OK to add the PAU versions as alternatives to the articles in question, it's not helpful to replace the names in links, as you did for instance here. Markussep Talk 09:51, 16 January 2022 (UTC)
- Could you please stop adding non-standard romanizations like "Qara-Qulca" for places in Kyrgzystan? None of the systems mentioned in Romanization of Kyrgyz use "q" for "к" or "c" for "ж". As I found out today, the official romanization system for Kyrgyz geographic names is the BGN/PCGN system, so please let's stick to that. Markussep Talk 16:41, 22 January 2022 (UTC)

editPlease refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Toktogul. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Markussep Talk 07:45, 26 January 2022 (UTC)
Jusup Abdrahman uulu moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Jusup Abdrahman uulu, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Translating articles
editHi when you use material translated from another language wiki, Wikipedia requires that you correctly attribute the source for copyright reasons. You do this by adding the text “translated from [article name] on ru.wiki/tr.wiki or which ever wiki you’re translating from to your first edit summary when you create the page. If you forget to do that, please just add a note to the article talk page instead. Thanks Mccapra (talk) 09:21, 8 February 2022 (UTC)

editHi, and thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia. Just to let you know, I moved your page Murat Salihov to Draft:Murat Salihov, since it appears to be a work-in-progress and, as it is, is currently unsuitable for mainspace. When you have finished it, you may move it back to mainspace, or if you are unable to do that, submit it at articles for creation. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers — JThistle38 (talk) 10:59, 8 February 2022 (UTC)

Please reply / Ответьте, пожалуйста
editI noticed that you're still adding non-standard romanizations of Kyrgyz names, like at Kochkor. As you may have noticed, these edits have been reverted, because they are considered disruptive. You also haven't responded to any of our comments so far. Please stop this, or you may be blocked from editing.
Markussep Talk 09:44, 13 February 2022 (UTC)

editPlease stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Kyzyl-Korgon, you may be blocked from editing. I have asked you three times already over the past month to stop adding non-standard romanizations/transliterations of Kyrgyz, but you keep doing it (8 articles yesterday) and you have not responded to any of my comments (or comments from other editors) at all. If you want to discuss romanization of Kyrgyz, please use Talk:Romanization of Kyrgyz or reply to this message. Markussep Talk 08:11, 22 February 2022 (UTC)

Move of Sievierodonetsk
editHello. The move of Sievierodonetsk to Siverskodonetsk is untimely as the new spelling has not become common yet. There was no consensus in the discussion that the article should be moved immediately, but rather that it should be moved later if/when Siverskodonetsk becomes the popular spelling.
