editPlease do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Srbica. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Thomas.W talk to me 13:11, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Lirigzon Asllani
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Lirigzon Asllani requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Thomas.W talk to me 13:29, 18 January 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Albert Jashari
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Albert Jashari, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. PRAXIDICAE🌈 16:44, 7 June 2022 (UTC)

editHello Alspooky. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Alspooky. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Alspooky|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. PRAXIDICAE🌈 16:44, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for the comments and contribution, I appreciate it. No it is not a paid edit. I live in Kosovo and am a non-paid contributor to the organisation the subject of the article is being discussed. I have contributed to other articles in the past, however that is in Wikipedia Albanian (Shqip). How would you advise to continue further? How should I disclose this information approprietly? AlsPkY (talk) 16:52, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
- How is this your own work then? PRAXIDICAE🌈 16:54, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
- This is a photo taken for general needs of the subject, he paid for that photo to be taken. Should I note that the work is owned by the subject Albert Jashari? AlsPkY (talk) 17:00, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
- He paid you or someone else? Because you uploaded it clearly as your own work. PRAXIDICAE🌈 17:03, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
- Now I see what you mean, no I have not been paid, I am not a photographer. I have asked Mr Jashari for a photo, the pho was taken at a photo studio, and has been provided to me for this use. Should I declare that Jashari owns the photo, please help and advise? AlsPkY (talk) 17:09, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
- No, as you do not own it and we have no evidence he gave you permission to release it. It must be deleted. PRAXIDICAE🌈 17:10, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
- I understand, again thanks for taking the time to discuss this with me :). Now you @Praxidicaeas an experienced user how would you advise me to act when re-uploading the same image if I do not own it, Mr Jashari does own it (he same as me does not have proof he owns it) and I do not know the details of the photo studio who took the photo and was paid in return? AlsPkY (talk) 17:17, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
- You don't. He'll need to send permission himself, with proof of ownership. PRAXIDICAE🌈 17:18, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
- Would it be a better idea to actually declare that the photo studio owns the artwork? Or that Mr Jashari owns it? How would I provide the proof of ownershwip (what is expected)? AlsPkY (talk) 17:24, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
- No because that's not how this works. WE do not allow copyrighted content on Wikipedia. PRAXIDICAE🌈 17:42, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
- @Praxidicae I am reading about the subject; the photo studio does not intend nor will claim any copyrights, they delivered the photo and that belongs to Mr Jashari in principle. Mr Jashari has agreed to release it to public domain, as it is required under Creative Commons license. As such, me, my username has transferred that to Wikimedia. This is the logic I used and felt right to do so. Again thank you for your time, you are helping and teaching a fellow contributor :D AlsPkY (talk) 17:58, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
- For the final time, we do not host ambiguous copyrighted photos and they require permission. PRAXIDICAE🌈 17:59, 7 June 2022 (UTC)

Women in Red
editHi there, Alspooky, and welcome to Women in Red. It's good to see you are once again active on the English Wikipedia and are interested in covering women from Eastern Europe. You'll no doubt be able to find some interesting figures if you browse through our Redlist index. I see you are preparing a biography of Larissa Lowthorp. I've sorted out the repeated references. I must say the article looks pretty promotional. You will need to find independent sources for TimeJump Media and for the content you have taken directly from her own website. You should be careful it is not deleted like Albert Jashari. If you have any connections with her, you should make this known on the article's talk page and perhaps also on your user page. See also Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. You might also find it useful to read through our Ten Simple Rules before you complete the draft. I'll be happy to look at it again when you think it is ready for article space. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 09:07, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot for your contribution. Advice taken. Still working on the draft if you find some time please take a look. And, I have already noted that I am not affiliated with her, which I noted during the AfC process. I would appreciate any advice.AlsPkY (talk) 23:59, 13 June 2022 (UTC) AlsPkY (talk) 23:15, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
