The article The Cultural Influence of the Colonization of America from Spain has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Personal essay, not written in a neutral manner.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ... discospinster talk 03:07, 30 October 2019 (UTC)

Feedback
editHi Alxthewriter, I'm sure this has been very frustrating for you so far. I encourage you to read similar articles like Spanish colonization of the Americas to see how to present a topic like an encyclopedia.
- Encyclopedias differ from essays in that they should be written in a neutral tone. This means that they are often quite dry to read. There are no efforts made to "hook" or "excite" the reader. Word choice is often quite bland.
- Everything added to Wikipedia must be cited for verifiability. There should not be any paragraphs or sections that end without a citation
- Wikipedia articles do not have a conclusion or closing section. Remember, this is an encyclopedia article, not an essay. You are not trying to "reach a conclusion" for the reader. You are not trying to persuade them towards your point of view. Nor do Wikipedia articles have a "thesis statement". At no point should you say "In this article, the reader will learn..." or anything in that vein. Your article clearly has a thesis statement right now: "This article pretends to expose the influence of the Spanish empire occupying American territories through the understanding of 4 main traits of colonization: Land, Property & Trade, Gender Roles and cultural brew and Religion."
My advice would be for you to draft a "Cultural influence" section for the Spanish colonization of the Americas article in your sandbox. Then you can request feedback from a classmate, your instructor, or me before adding it to the article. I think you have a much better chance of success by editing an existing article rather than trying to create a new one. As always, you can reply to me below or email me at elysia@wikiedu.org with any questions. Elysia (Wiki Ed) (talk) 16:27, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
