editSelf Portraits: You have a lot of great examples embedded in this post, yet the introduction confused me a little. I would cut out the definition of self portraits and prepare the reader for what facts you are stating or argument you are making. Maybe something like "Artists utilize self portraiture to convey multiple meanings, including their definition of themselves, sharing their scope with their audience, or their reflection on current issues, providing a historical documents through their art." Just a suggestion!
Women Portraits: I really enjoyed reading this post! I feel maybe unpacking the second to last sentence would help create a stronger ending, giving your overall post more credit. Like how is women's dependency on men through marriage portrayed through portraits? It just feels a little loose ended but was a educational and interesting article.
