On your creation of The Crown of Ptolemy

edit

Hi there, AmH1960, I'm here as a representative of the Percy Jackson Task-force. Thanks so much for being bold and creating the new article about The Crown of Ptolemy, by Rick Riordan. Unfortunately... we now have a bit of an issue. User and WP:PJTF member Methychroma had in progress a draft of an article about this topic, located here, which was declined for submission because of its lack of a focus on real-world significance. WP:PJTF and Methychroma then began working to improve the draft so it could pass review and become a full article.

So...we're at an interesting crossroads here, and you should be aware of the possibilities about what might happen. WP:PJTF may begin to edit your draft; or continue to edit its own with plans to replace yours with a redirect, or even merge the two. On a semi-unrelated note, your article does not appear to meet Wikipedia's guidelines for new articles, and as such, may be deleted by the new pages patrol. WP:PJTF has no control over this process, and will not compete with that project's decisions. In the future, consider using the Article Wizard to create a Draft of your own. Also, please be sure to search all namespaces before creating an article -- this should prevent your creating an article when there is also a draft in progress, and help you to see how to improve your own draft (assuming the drafts you find were declined for some reason). You can do this by using the "Search everything" feature of the Wikipedia search bar. This link will take you there if you're unsure how to find it yourself.

Just wanted to let you know about all of this. If you need to talk to me or WP:PJTF, start a discussion here on the WP:PJF talk page, where all interested parties can follow. Thanks once again for your boldness, and for reading this looong message! -- 2ReinreB2 (talk) 02:31, 8 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
