Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.
It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}}
on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and should be treated accordingly.
We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Sarah (talk) 20:58, 28 March 2012 (UTC)

POV at immigration article
editHi. Welcome to Wikipedia, but I noticed serious POV problems with your edits at the article on illegal immigration. Specifically, you misrepresented source material in order to make it sound more favorable to illegal immigrants, while deleting, completely without explanation, sourced material that might undermine demands by illegal immigrants for amnesty or other legal status. This is especially troubling given your earlier comments that you would like to influence the presidential election by editing Wikipedia. Please understand that Wikipedia is expected to remain neutral, and you should not seek to shape a Wikipedia page to your personal political views. Opposing views should not be removed simply because you disagree with them, and source material must be faithfully represented, not molded to a particular point of view. All are welcome to edit Wikipedia, but please take greater care with your edits in the future. If you must edit at a contentious topic that is likely to be the subject of disputes, please take extra care to ensure that your edits are not biased, and seek feedback from other users before making major additions to the page.
