But it stopped after 20 queries, that's certainly enough to keep me busy for a day or two, but it is still only running a few queries per run. Troll sock series

Hi DeltaQuad, I suppose you are aware of the series of troll socks that have been out for User:Werieth recently, starting with Request Denied Forever (talk · contribs), then Arnhem 96 (talk · contribs) and Formal Appointee Number 6 (talk · contribs). When you blocked the first of this series the other day [1], you said there was a "relation to another account (CU based)". Does that mean you have CU evidence linking the troll socks to a specific, currently active sockmaster account? I'm asking because, in that case, given the persistence of the sockpuppeting and block evasion as well as the impression of a wiki-hounding agenda, it might be time to impose sanctions on the sockmaster account too, don't you think? I don't know who the actual sockmaster is (as I think these aren't all the accounts) and that is why there has been no particular action against them. I used my administrative discretion at the time to block whoever the first account was, there was no checkuser basis at that time. That said, here is the active list of accounts:

It may very well be a wrong conclusion, and using socks to argue the case is definitely going about it the wrong way, but I agree with DQ that it doesn't fit within the limited confines of what we're permitted to revision delete. Before I was ignoring his claims because he is a spammer and sockpuppeteer. Out of curiosity, why were the accounts on Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Stern_review banned? I had been watching one and their edits seemed constructive, as did many of the other socks. Just curious. EvergreenFir (talk) 02:37, 20 December 2013 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Picker78/Archive#13 December 2013

Hello, DeltaQuad. Like I stated in the above linked investigation with regard to Picker78 admitting only after he is caught that he is Picker78, see here. He taunts like that all time. This is one of the most persistent, mind-boggling sockpuppets (mind-boggling because of the sheer trivial matters he focuses on) that I have ever seen. Is it okay to run a check on his Promiscuous man account now for WP:Sleepers?
