Primary sources

Press releases, forum postings, blogs, patents, and documents from legal proceedings are all primary sources and should not be used. Stick to things like newspapers and peer reviewed journals. Every company puts out lots of press releases and files lots of legal documents, Wikipedia only takes notice when the news media takes notice first. - MrOllie (talk) 22:15, 9 June 2020 (UTC)

While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Hello Amany N Mohamed. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. No. I am not associated with Wi-LAN in any way except it's founder is Egyptian like me and I am very proud of it and want to highlight their contributions. You obviously are biased against it.
