Request reason:

I would like to request to be unblocked and change my user name so I can properly contribute to the Wikipedia community. I wish to contribute content relating to the Orbital Welding industry which is a very important area of technology. I have multiple patents that are significant to the Orbital Welding industry and, it is in my opinion, that Orbital Welding is poorly understood and not fully represented on Wikipedia.

I understand that the reasons for my block were concerning using my account for promotional purposes which are an abuse of the Wikipedia user account. I apologize for my previous conduct and for not properly adhering to the Wikipedia guidelines. Going further, I will not include content that violates these guidelines and solely focus on content that strictly adheres to them. Being a contributing member of the Orbital Welding industry, I would love to be allowed to continue to grow the Wikipedia content about and relating to it. Here are a few key questions:

• Do you understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and not a business directory?
